Installing seat belts 1966 plateau

Hi All,

We need help installing seat belts in a 1966 HY which was not equipped with seat belts.

We have the plateau style or HYP version

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Kat and Garric, to morrow I am in my hobby shed and will make some pictures about the mounting places in my HY from 1974. He has the original mounting places. I will sent you the pictures.

As promissed I made some pictures from the mounting places of the belts.
I hope this gives you the wanted information. Of course you have to make your own reinforcements to make the needed firmness.

I think this migth be pretty difficult, sice Citroen welded bolts on the inside of the b-style / b-frame and possibly also reinforcements (has anyone on this forum ever opened a b/style and taken pictures from the inside? , maybe from the outside for rentoration?) to make sure you fixate the properly and you don't tear them out if you ever use them you should recreate these bolts and reinforcements (and open your b style) or create a similar construction outside the b style to fixate the seatbelts upon.
